Great News for our College’s Cisco Networking Academy!

Collinstown Park Community College has just been awarded the Certificate of Recognition for FIVE YEARS of active participation and service in Cisco Networking Academy.


We have also received certification in recognition of Expert Level Instructor Excellence and lasting contribution to the Cisco Networking Academy programme.

Collinstown Park has offered training programs culminating in the certifications Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) over the last few years. The training programme leads to an industrial certification recognised worldwide. The Cisco CCNA is mapped to a QQI level 6 advanced award. It is a perfect course of study for anyone wishing to enter the IT industry since alongside holding a QQI Level 5 award in Computer Systems and Networks or the CompTIA A+ or equivalent life experience, you will be primed for entry into the IT industry. At Collinstown Park, we also provide the much acclaimed and globally recognised CompTIA A+ award.  Job roles from Cisco CCNA include the following:

System Engineers (Computer Networking/ IT), Technical Support Engineer, Network Administrator, Network Security Associate.

Many other job roles are also available depending on the CCNA Track. For example, if someone has good knowledge of wireless fundamentals, he/she can easily get the job on that basis. Other job titles are like Network Support Technician, Data Centre Associate, Video and Voice Engineers etc.Cisco2
