On Friday afternoon I was coming to the end of my music class and was taken out by Ms Smith. I was feeling scared because I thought I was in trouble. She said we had to go back down to my base class. I was told nothing only that there was a surprise for me.
When I got to my base class I was asked to close my eyes again, still not knowing what was going on. I was directed to a chair in the middle of the room. I then opened my eyes and Olivia began to play a video on the big screen. The surprise was a video message from Irish Taekwondo Star Jack Woolley from Jobstown in Tallaght, Dublin 24.
When the message was played, it was a personal message wishing me the very best of luck in secondary school. Jack thanked me for all my continued support and said it meant a lot to him. Jack told me to stay focused, not to panic and take everyday as it comes and I’d do well.
I felt ecstatic that he had taken the time to do something so nice for me as a big fan of his and it made me realise that even when people become famous they can take the time out to do something so nice.
