I hope you and your family remain safe and well over Easter. It’s difficult to believe it is three weeks since we were all in school together. I know you are still getting used to learning in a new way and your teachers are also getting used to teaching in a new way.
Change is never easy, but with a little patience and practice, we will all make good progress. I know some of your teachers have given you work to complete during Easter and when you have the work done, I hope you can relax and enjoy the break.
For those of you in third or sixth year, this is a very uncertain time. At the moment, we have to presume that the exams will go ahead. The Government announced today that they are trying to ensure that the exams will take place. Try not to worry too much and do your best to continue with the work set by your teachers, while at the same time taking a break and looking after yourselves really well.
I hope in the not too distant future we will all be safely back in school together. In the meantime, if you are worried or anxious about anything, talk to an adult in your family. There is also very helpful information on this website.
Please remember, follow all the guidelines and restrictions to limit the spread of Covid-19.
Stay safe, stay well, look after yourselves and each other and have a good Easter break.
